Through the First City Film Festival Foundation, The First City Film Festival is a juried festival of local and international films.

The festival in historic downtown Leavenworth, Kansas includes four days of film screenings, panels and VIP events.

• Assemble filmmakers together for networking and screenings
• Showcase the talents of local artists and international filmmakers
• Bring revenue into the historic city of Leavenworth and our gracious local sponsors

• Give away a scholarship through local sponsors to an eligible student.
• Present the Andy Entwistle Spirit Award for first-time filmmakers
• Present the Dandelion Award for a Local Woman in Film
• Award prizes to the best films screened in unique categories judged by a selective committee
